Nine years ago, my world cracked open. I was raising my daughter and building my photography business in Ohio when my relationship ended unexpectedly. That heartbreak became a turning point — one that revealed just how strong, resourceful, and unstoppable I truly am.

I’ve rebuilt after heartbreaks. After layoffs. After seasons of deep uncertainty. I spent 20 years in Tampa, Florida, and 10 of those working at the Tampa Tribune, pouring my passion into storytelling — until the shifting newspaper industry let me go. I’ve faced solo parenting, financial struggle, self-doubt, and reinvention. But every time life brought me uncertainty, I rose stronger.

One thing about me, I can adapt and pivot like it’s no one’s business. I live for the unknown — and I know that the things that scares us most are usually the ones we’re meant to do. I’ve learned to walk straight into the fear, heart first.

Photography has been my heartbeat for over 30 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, but storytelling through a lens is where I come alive. My camera has taken me across the world, witnessing the exact moment a woman lights up because she feels seen — not just posed, but truly seen.

And that’s what inspired these retreats. After attending and photographing soul-shifting retreats myself, I knew I was meant to create spaces like this — places where women remember their power, reconnect with themselves, and say yes to the life they truly want.
